Miele's Bünde plant is part of the 'Cooking Products' division with a focus on the development and production of hob units, steam ovens and warmer drawers (for heating crockery, keeping food warm and for low-temperature cooking). Bünde has belonged to the Miele Group, along with its Arnsberg facilities, since the takeover of the kitchen appliance manufacturer Imperial in 1989. Today, the plant with around 680 employees stands inter alia for Miele's innovation and technology leadership in the field of steam ovens and pressure cookers as well as for innovative ceramic glass hobs.
